On this week’s edition of “Off the Cuff with Chad Brockhoff and Andrew Gluchov,” the fellas opened things with their “Four Downs” segment that touched on Week 5 of the area high school football season, the new FHSAA high school football playoff format, A.J. Caldwell’s commitment to South Alabama, and Arnold Palmer’s passing and the King’s impact on the Suncoast.
At about the 26-minute mark, Chad and Andrew talk to former Manatee High standout and current Marshall University defensive end Blake Keller. Keller talked about his days at Manatee, his journey from the University of Central Florida to Marshall, and life in Huntington, West Virginia.
David Wilson made his debut on the program about 52 minutes in and set Chad and Andrew straight when it came to the new FHSAA high school football playoff. Wilson also talked football recruiting and Tim Tebow’s baseball hopes.
The show closes with former Riverview High and USF basketball standout Shanta Grace making her return at around 1:12:00. Grace, the new head basketball coach at Dunedin High, talked about a new challenge that she is getting ready to tackle. Here is a link to Grace’s first interview on the show.
